Sol-gel synthesis and structural study of a lithium titanate phase Li <sub>3x</sub>La <sub>2/3.x</sub> □<sub>1/3-2x</sub> TiO<sub>3</sub> as solid electrolyte

Abstract Perovskite lithium lanthanum titanate (LLTO) was prepared as an inorganic solid electrolyte material for ion batteries applications using sol-gel method. Three different compositions of : (a) 3x=0.3 (Li 0.3 La 0.57 TiO 3 ), (b) 3x=0.5 0.5 ) were and calcined at 1000°C 6h, (c) 3x=0.1 0.1 0.63 1100°C 6h. The effects content calcination temperature on the structure perovskite powders studied. synthesized characterized by X-ray diffraction analysis. Results indicate that Li crystallized in tetragonal space group P4/mmm. On other hand, Rietveld refinement analysis LLTO samples confirmed formation crystalline phase P4/mmm group, orthorhombic Pmmm group.
